25 Days of Christmas | Day 25→ Favorite portrayal of Santa in a movie?
Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle, Miracle on 34th Street
This man is not only so freaking adorable, he added a jolly, magical quality that I think a lot of Santa portrayers miss. He was subtle and unassuming, and yet everyone believed in him. He didn’t have to go “Ho ho ho!” for everyone to see his Santa-ness. I fully believe Edmund Gwenn is the real Santa Claus.

Classic animated Grinch all the way!
Jim Carrey was exceedingly creepy as the Grinch in the live action movie. Therefore, I will always choose the cute animated one….

25 Days of Christmas | Day 20→ Favorite Christmas book
A Visit from Saint Nicholas (commonly known as The Night Before Christmas) by Anonymous, although generally credited to Clement C. Moore
“‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house…not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse…” I love this story. I think most people have at least heard it once if not have it practically memorized. It always fills me with the Christmas spirit.

25 Days of Christmas | Day 18→ Favorite animated Christmas movie
Mickey’s Christmas Carol
Again, this was such a hard answer to pick, because I love a lot of animated Christmas movies…but I chose this one because I haven’t used it yet in an answer and because I love the story! Scrooge McDuck is great as Ebeneezer, and I love Goofy as Jacob Marley…And golly pete, is Tiny Tim not the CUTEST thing ever?!? I just love the story of A Christmas Carol, and so for it to be Disneyfied without losing its meaning is awesome.

25 Days of Christmas | Day 16→ Favorite Christmas movie character?

Linus Van Pelt, A Charlie Brown Christmas

I love this little guy. He is the only one who gets it. He understands and shares the real meaning of Christmas. And the way he does it is so understated. I think it’s brilliant. And come on, Linus is freakin’ adorable.
